REEL FRAMES – UNIVERSAL RIVETED CONSTRUCTION

While many of our larger reel models have featured riveted construction for years, we are pleased to announce that we have now replaced bolted construction on our smaller (trapezoidal frame style) hose and cable reels with riveted construction as well.  This change is universal for all hose reel and cable reel models using this style of frame.

Specifically, the new small frame design uses 12 self-piercing (zero-clearance) rivets per assembly, resulting in an extraordinarily strong, durable reel that eliminates any potential racking movement between the frame components. In the time since this construction change has gone into effect early this year, we have been gratified by the positive feedback and reports back from the field.
