A liquid waste services powerhouse

KeeVac Industries is a family-owned-and-operated business. KeeVac serves all businesses that depend on trucks to thrive, so it's important that KeeVac delivers a dependable product. "There are quite a few local customers who have my cell phone number and I've come out on weekends to get them parts to get a truck up and running when something goes south. We know the industry never stops," says KeeVac Purchasing Manager, Chase Augenstein.

The industry calls for reliable hose reels.

KeeVac began production in 2009, and it didn’t take long for the company to find that a partnership with Hannay Reels would be the best fit for their customers. Durability, compact size, and ease of use are just a few of the reasons Hannay hose reels stand above the competition. “We’re steadfast on Hannay reels. We’ve tried a couple of other reels, but they just don’t hold up and don’t have the quality we expect a hose reel to have,” says Augenstein.

The reel used most by KeeVac Industries is the Hannay N700 Reel. Hannay N700 Reels are utilized for washdown of porta potties, as well as replenishing the five gallons of water in a porta potty when emptied. There are also times when a garden hose won’t do, and a higher pressure rating is needed for power washing portable restrooms. KeeVac will utilize Hannay N800 Reels with a larger hose size when one of their customers requests a higher flow rate to fill a five-gallon bucket vs. porta potty quicker.

Why Hannay?

The rugged reliability of Hannay reels has been put to the test by the harsh conditions in liquid waste management, but the product has proven to be worthy of its reputation. Chase Augenstein says, “We haven’t had a Hannay reel that needed service in over two years.”  When they do need service, Hannay reels are simple to maintain with easily installed replacement parts. “Vibration-resistance is a big reason we choose Hannay reels. Many hose reels on the market don’t hold up to the abuse of the industry, and that’s never been a problem with Hannay,” states Augenstein.
